The National Conference on OB-GYN Ultrasound
A distinguished panel from the renowned IAME faculty will focus on issues of practical importance to obstetrician-gynecologists, perinatologists, radiologists and sonographers.
The Conference is geared toward the improvement of clinical outcomes for you and your patients. The goal is to provide you with:
- A review of screening strategies in first and second trimester
- 3D ultrasound applications you can use in everyday practice
- Instruction in current and newer applications of ultrasound in the gynecologic patient
- Interactive discussions on interpretation and critical pathways using IAME's Audience Response System
By attending The National Conference On Ob-Gyn Ultrasound, each participant will:
- Describe the most common indications for ultrasound
- Identify the role of ultrasound in the evaluation of abnormal bleeding
- Learn technical aspects of obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound evaluation including important new techniques
- Improve their ability to evaluate the OB-GYN patient with gray scale, 3D and Doppler ultrasound
- Improve patient outcomes through better use of ultrasound

The Institute for Advanced Medical Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Institute for Advanced Medical Education designates this educational activity for a maximum of 19 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (15 credits for the National Conference on OB-GYN Ultrasound and 4 credits for the Nuchal Translucency Education and Quality Monitoring Program). Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Application pending with ACOG.
Sonographers can use Category 1 credits in fulfillment of the continuing education requirement of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical-Sonographers (ARDMS). Radiographers will receive SDMS credits which are accepted by ARRT as Category A credits.
Each participant will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance showing Category1 credits earned and a list of subjects covered in the course. Many attendees will find this useful for submission to credentialing boards,managed care organizations, and accreditation bodies.
