The Institute for Advanced Medical Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Institute for Advanced Medical Education designates this educational activity for a maximum of 19 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (15 credits for the National Conference on OB-GYN Ultrasound and 4 credits for the Nuchal Translucency Education and Quality Monitoring Program). Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Application pending with ACOG.
Sonographers can use Category 1 credits in fulfillment of the continuing education requirement of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical-Sonographers (ARDMS). Radiographers will receive SDMS credits which are accepted by ARRT as Category A credits.
Each participant will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance showing Category1 credits earned and a list of subjects covered in the course. Many attendees will find this useful for submission to credentialing boards,managed care organizations, and accreditation bodies.
